Who Owns Corcoran Lagoon?
Corcoran Lagoon has many property owners. Although radio station KSCO owns some of the parcels covered by lagoon waters, this photo (from the Santa Cruz County Geographic Information System (GIS) illustrates the various legal property owners of the lagoon area.

The picture below was taken April 10, 2020 and shows that Corcoran Lagoon Beach is more than just its sand. Waves break along the shoreline of the beach, which is a part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary,
with the MBNMS boundary defined as the "mean high tide line."
